Empowering the next generation: Kibera Pride Alumni mentoring our children

As we continue with school holiday-season,we at Kibera Pride Children’s Home are excited to keep our children engaged in a variety of enriching activities. One of the key initiatives we’re focusing on this holiday is mentorship. We’re proud to see our Kibera Pride alumni stepping up to guide, inspire, and mentor the younger generation.

These young men and women, who were once beneficiaries of Kibera Pride, have returned to share their experiences and knowledge with the children. Their commitment to giving back to the community, starting with the very home that nurtured them, is both heartwarming and inspiring. It’s a powerful testament to the impact that a supportive community and a nurturing environment can have on a child’s life.

Through mentorship, our alumni are helping our children build confidence, develop leadership skills, and set goals for their futures. They serve as living proof that with determination, resilience, and the right support, anything is possible. The children are not only gaining valuable life lessons but also seeing firsthand the importance of giving back to the community that raised them.

We are incredibly proud of our alumni and grateful for the time and effort they are dedicating to Kibera Pride. Their contributions are helping to shape a brighter future for our children, ensuring that the cycle of giving and community support continues to grow stronger.

At Kibera Pride Children’s Home, we believe in the power of community, and it’s moments like these that reaffirm our mission. Together, we are building a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive, dream, and give back.

Thank you to all our supporters, alumni, and community members who make this possible. Your continued dedication and love are what make Kibera Pride a place where hope and opportunity flourish.
